Camille Claudel

Camille Claudel was a french sculptor. One of her more notable works is titled 'The Waltz'. This was originally made in plaster but was later casted to bronze. It depicts two people, a man and a women dancing. The women is supposed to symbolize Camille and the man is supposed to be Auguste Rodin. This was her mentor and employer who she had a love affair with. The piece is supposed to depict them. I like how the piece can be tied into a real life event.
