Camille Claudel

Camille Claudel was a French sculptor known for the originality of her works. Claudel's work known as "The Wave" was originally made of plaster and later cast in bronze and onyx marble. It is located in the Musee Rodin in Paris. I like this sculpture because the three women look like they are playing and having fun. I think it is really interesting that the wave is captured as it curves before it crashes. This may resemble how the artist feels about life in the sense that things may be going great but bound to crash after.
