This is the Clown Skull by Vik Muniz. It is a part of his relic series. Skeletons are usually creepy and eerie, and a popular decoration for Halloween. I like how he added a clown nose to the skull. It kind of takes away some of the seriousness of death. Makes one think that someone who was funny in life leaves his humor behind. I like how some of the skull's teeth are missing. The sculpture looks like actual bone and not man made.
